So.... blogging is like the "thing to do" these days and my husband, Trent (the first T) told me I should start a blog and I said, "about what? when do I have time to blog?" But I've been thinking about it and reading some other people's blogs and decided that this might be good for me. I like to write, but keeping a journal never really appealed to me (I suppose it was the lack of an audience). I actually "compose" journal entries and conversations with people in my head all the time (I do the composing in my head, the people are not in my head... well, for the converstation they are :) so now all I have to do is get 15 uninterrupted minutes at the computer.... let me know when you stop laughing. Those of you who know me or have more than 1 child at home know what I mean. In fact, as I type, I keep having to move the baby away from the cpu before she turns the whole computer off... again. So instead, she is biting the cat's tail, but its okay because the dumb thing just sits there. And she has no claws anyway. I'll just warn you, the only way I may get time to blog is if I give in to the clammering for ba-bas and type with a 1 year old attached.
*short intermission to clean up spit-up off the floor*
So back to the "why." There are some goals I have for this summer while I'm home. (I have the privilage of being a SAHM between June 3rd and August 17 - you guessed it, I'm a teacher!!!)
*another intermission, this time pee.... and a diaper - cloth of course, I'm sure I'll blog more at length about that another time...*
And I thought that if I am blogging about the summer and think that someone might be reading it, then I may feel more accountability and actually get some, if not all (wouldn't that surprise my husband!) of them accomplished!
So I think I'm done for tonight. I'll save my list of goals for tomorrow, or whatever day I get back to this! Wish me luck!! Happy blogging!
